Quick Way to Make Smoother Filling for Deviled Eggs
First of all, we’ll need to prepare our fillings for the deviled eggs. It is more appealing to have a smoother filling than a lumpier one when presenting your deviled eggs.
To get a smoother filling, it is easier to smash the egg yolks into small pieces before mixing it with other ingredients. I used to use the back of a spoon or fork to do it. It can do the job too, just take a bit longer time.
However, I found that the best way to get the lumps out of deviled egg filling is to use a potato masher. Mash the yolk into smaller pieces and mix it with other ingredients by using an egg beater. With these simple tools, it really helps a lot in making the filling smoother.

Give New Shapes to your Deviled Eggs
We usually use a knife to cut the eggs into half to make deviled eggs. Why not changing it a little bit to give our deviled eggs a makeover!
We could use an egg shaper instead of knife to shape our egg white halves. It’s very easy. Just roll the hard-boiled egg on the shaper and you could cut the egg white with wave design or zigzag pattern. Easy way to impress your guests with these simple gadgets.

Try Other Creative Ingredients to Season your Egg Yolks
You do not need to limit yourself with mayonnaise, you can also try other ingredients like wasabi, avocado, sour cream, sweet potato or even curry paste to spice your deviled eggs up.
Also, not forgetting to add a splash of white vinegar or lemon juice to brighten up the deviled eggs.
Filling Up the Deviled Eggs
The simplest way will be using a spoon to fill up the deviled eggs with seasoned egg yolks. It is perfectly fine if you are having it at a casual family dinner. However, if you are serving it to your guests or bringing it to a party, you may want to present your deviled egg in a more appealing way. A better way to do so is to put the seasoned egg yolks in a piping bag with pastry tip and fill the egg white halves up with a swirl motion. You could use different pastry tips for each egg trays to fill the deviled eggs with various designs. Let your creativity flow!
Last but not least, sprinkle paprika to garnish. You could also be more creative and use other ingredients, like sesame seeds, crumbled bacon, jalapeno pepper or green onion too!
